Sometimes it is fun to switch gears and embrace the abstraction.  It is using a different part of my brain, one where going with the flow is almost a timeless escape from the active thinking I need to use creating representational sculpture.  I feel free to explore, extending or editing off limbs, merging long locks of hair with the arm, and thinking mainly in terms of a sensuous, strong design with an inviting play of light and shadows over the form.  It is a musical experience I adore!
