I travel a lot and like to paint scenes that create a certain mood.  Although they are a special place to me, they could be anywhere.  Flowers are such miracles that I don't think their beauty could ever be captured.  I just go for the effects of light on color and a bit of their essence.  I am humbled by the challenge of ever capturing their true glory.
