Anatomy is fascinating to me whether human or animal. I study it voraciously! To create a sculpture in bronze you must first make an armature, then sculpt in clay, then take it to a mold maker, and they create a silicone and plaster mold over the over the sculpture. It is a long process before the bronze comes to fruition through the lost wax process. More on the casting process is under the heading Commissions. I show it in the slide show of Atlas and also Pacific Gray Whale.
